New Identity

.

Thanks to the knowledge, skill and technical craft of Matt Rubin,
we are shaping a new identity for all web based units of measure. Basically with Matt's assistance everything we do on-line will be streamlined, easily accessible, and professional. From email to web presence, Matt is hooking us up with our dream web persona for the resources we would like to share with viewers like you. Expect great simple and minimal changes, and expect great things to happen.

Above is a found image of Something Home Something contributor Brion Nuda Rosch, he is photographed middle and center of the human totem.

In "Step Piece" Acconci stepped on and off a stool in his apartment every morning at the rate of thirty steps a minute, continuing the effort for as long as possible; the results of his "daily improvement" were distributed to the art public in the form of monthly progress reports.

"The space is dominated by the bustle of ongoing productivity, a team of workers sitting on benches at tables produce what appear to be laundry bags, the type of which you find at markets and thrift stores around the world. However, divorced from the type of rapid process that would ordinarily mark the production of such a ubiquitous commercial object, the workers instead pour intensely over sheets of Fabriano paper. With delicate precision, using only pencils and biro pens, they slowly mark out the bag pattern upon the surface of the paper. When fully patterned, the paper will be cut and assembled by the workers in order to form an object that straddles the status of both drawing and sculpture while appearing, on first look at least, to be neither."
