I didn’t feel like that was a problem with this recipe, but I did give it a stir (out of instinct, really) before I served it!

We’re having a “Polar Express” spirit day at my daughter’s elementary school in a couple of weeks, and we want to serve hot cocoa to all of the kids–just a little taste at lunchtime. With 600 students, we’re a little overwhelmed with the sheer numbers, but we have 4 large crock pots ready to go to work. I’ll let you know how it turns out. Thanks again for posting the recipe. I think I’ll also have to try it out on my family 😉

Whoa!! That’s a lot of hot chocolate!! Sadly, I have no frame of reference for any recipe like that. I’ve never tried it, and I can’t really make a good guess as to if it would work or not. So sorry!! But I’d love to hear what you end up doing!!

I’m wanting to make 400 cups of cocoa – that’s a lot to make up in large pots and too much for the crockpot, but a really rich syrup or pudding consistency concentrate may work well as a mix for hot water and a large crockpot full may make enough for 200 cups. What do you think?
