I just wanted to thank you for this fantastic recipe. I’m gluten free and have had problems finding a simple, yet tasty pie crust recipe. You did it! I substituted my gluten free flour blend and the crust worked wonderfully! My adult gluten free daughters and grandchildren loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!. Looks like I’m having pies for Thanksgiving! Thank you so much!

I CAN’T WAIT TO TRY THIS. I HAVE NEVER BEEN A GOOD PIE CRUST MAKER. THE COST OF PRE-MADE PIE CRUST HAS GONE UP SO I DON’T BUY THEM VERY OFTEN.

I wonder if this would work with Spectrum shortening??? Might give it a try. I have pretty good luck with piecrust when I make them, but don’t do it often.

I don’t know why it has taken me YEARS to discover buttermilk, but now that I have, I make sure it is always in the fridge! SO….I can’t wait to try this recipe! I am not the best pie crust maker either….but I keep trying!
