Honestly, I didn’t think it was overly sweet by itself at all. But… it’s also worth keeping in mind that I may have a higher tolerance for sweets than most people 😉

Hi Ashton!

I just came across this recipe and I’m super excited to give it a go for Valentine’s Day this year-quick question, how sweet was the bread? I ask this, as I’m considering drizzling cream cheese frosting over the top instead of powdered sugar but I didn’t want to cross over into the “OMG I can only eat one bite because this is so sweet” realm. Thoughts?

I died and went to heaven when I saw this recipe because I love anything red velvet and bread!

This may sound silly but I do not want to use a premix but am not sure what ingredients (and proportions) I should use for the red velvet cake mix. Can you help please?
